An Inconvenient Truth
In the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” Al Gore was referring to global warming. Most viewers gave their opinion even if it was positives or negatives. I am going to write some positives and negatives which the interviewer mentions then my opinion.
Let’s look at some of the major results of global warming around the world according to Gore’s presentation. First of all, Al Gore presents thoughts in an exciting way rather than being boring, uses jokes and clips that amuses the watcher (O’Hara). Also, Al Gore never says that he is right in everything he says (O’Hara). Finally, Al Gore lets people feel about the global warming then he gives the way to change the future (O’Hara).
On the other hand, Scott talks about his negative view. First of all, the writer critics Al Gore on his use making jokes that gave little to support the point he was already making. Secondly, the writer chooses to point out the black and white scenes Al Gore uses in order to talk about his life did not target the issue at hand. Finally, the overall message that the criticism was meant to portray was that the movie showcased Al Gore himself more than it did global warming.
In conclusion, Al Gore is one of the leading protestors against one of the world’s most controversial issues which are global warming. His impact in helping the recent camping and his enthusiasm is something to be admired. I honestly hope that the world would come together in using green energy, freezing the carbon dioxide emission even if it means it might slow down certain economies.
